I live in San Francisco, CA and I play music, read books, cook up food, go to shows, woodworking, hike, and a bunch of other stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My old roommate in SF, CA hosted some couchsurfers from many places including Germany, Netherlands, and Finland. I also got the opportunity to stay at a house in Seattle involved with CS. All experiences have been great, I'm hoping to meet some people in Europe through this site!
I am interested in food, biking, art, beer, history, museums, books, film, writing, and chilling.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like folk/metal/rock/punk/blues music(and really like going to live shows). Some movies I like; The Godfather(I+II), There will be blood, True Romance, Detroit Rock City, The Big Lebowski, and Super Troopers. As far as books go, I like adventure novels (especially non fiction about traveling), i enjoy historical crime books(such as The Alienist by Caleb Carr), and lately I've been reading Short Introductions from oxford because they are cool:).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2013 I hiked up Mt. Fuji in Japan in the night wearing Vans (amazing or stupid, i'm not sure).
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning about other peoples cities and sharing information about my own. When I go to a place it really means more to me to figure out how it works, and how it became to be(really like history!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, museum buddy, I can literally sit in a park all day, I'm pretty good at making breakfast burritos too.
