I am a 22-year-old film and finance student looking to see the world on a budget! I am currently working at H and R Block Part-time and I am a full-time student at SDSU. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA as a first-generation Lebanese- American. I enjoy going on day trips with my friends and visiting new places around me. I am honored to have grown up in a vacation city and I am just now beginning to see all the amazing things in California.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
So I can see the world on a budget and meet new people. Staying in hostels and hotels lets you meet fellow tourists, staying with a local helps me feel culturally submerged. Aside from saving money, a very important part of traveling for me is seeing how the people lives in other parts of the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies are Into the Wild, Love is all you need, Stardust. My favorite book is The Tale of Despereaux. I am completely obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and I am a great fan of Disneyland.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Traveled Spain alone. This was the first time I had been on a plane by myself, studying in a new country, paid for the whole trip by myself, and attempted to learn a new language. I had spent my whole life up until this point letting my parents tell me what I should and shouldn't do and traveling, to me, was always something that couldn't happen until I became an "adult." This trip proved to me that I was an adult.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share random historical facts about San Diego and California and I can recommend some amazing eats down in Tijuana if that is a place you plan on visting!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can tell you all about disneyland and help you plan a trip to California. It is one of the hardest areas to travel to and get around in, I am full of information about my home state. I do not have many shareable talents but I could also tell you a bit about what the film industry in California is about since I work in film in between studying for school. I can teach you how to make rainbow cakes and cookies but unlike everyone else who comes out of California I can not teach you how to surf, unfortunately. I am afraid of the deep sea... learning to surf was never an option for me.
