One Amazing Thing I've Done
Once my friends in Hilo took me surfing and as we sat in the ocean a dozen or so sea turtles rolled up on us. We spent a few hours swimming/surfing together. In asking yourself about me, know that I have been thoroughly vetted by turtles. Later that night these same friends drove me all the way up to Mauna Kea to see my first meteor shower. My time in Hawaii not only cemented my love for nature but showed me how surrounding yourself with great people, even if only for a few weeks can radically change your experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
- We could practice Spanish or Portuguese - I could teach you some Jamaican patois - There are a few dishes I cook really well. - I enjoy giving people my full attention and asking thoughtful questions. I also commit to giving honest answers to your questions, even when the responses may make me seem weird or silly.
What I Can Share With Hosts
^Everything written above. More broadly, I still believe in the original ideals of Couchsurfing and want to share our experiences and visions of the world.
My Interests
literature, languages, meditation, yoga, weightlifting, everything born of the African Diaspora, everything under the sea
