Overview
About Me
My first CS-experince was in 2007 in Cali, Colombia where Jaime- my first host - opened my eyes to the beauty of this community. I loved Couchsurfing from the start; to discover every day life in different cultures, make true connections and and to meet like minded people. And it´s of course to spend less on hotels so we can discover more on our trips.
Now I live in a in a small house in my hometown Piteå, northern Sweden—where winters light up with breathtaking northern lights, and summers glow with endless bright nights, and I try to host whenever I can so more travellers can discover Couchsurfing.
By profession, I run my own business as a photographer and commercial filmmaker, capturing stories through images and film.
My passions are many—personal development, yoga, reiki, meditation, books, chess, salsa dancing, nature, pyramids, hiking, art, skiing, hockey, fishing, diving, hunting, snowmobiling, and the simple joy of board games (I need to narrow it down!).
Spiritual, creative, and wide awake to life’s magic.
Always curious about new people and hear their stories, so if you are around, let’s connect.
PHILOSOPHY
Question everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I´m hosting when possible, try to give travel advice and help travellers in my region. I also meet up for activities.
I’ an old school cs:er. I expect guests to share costs for food, shared cooking and to clean up after yourself and help out to keep the place neat. If one cook, the other one cleans the plates etc. Just like if we were flatmates.
I enjoy people who both like to have conversations, and also are able to do things by them self since I need my space and sometimes have a full work schedule. Clear communications is always good.
Please start your request with ”Aloha” so i know you’ve read this.
