After a few months on the road abroad I got pretty tired of the hostel life and wanted a more authentic experience. Since then I've pretty much been staying with locals wherever I travel. I love couchsurfing for the home-y vibes, sharing some coffee and good conversation, exploring all the best spots that only a local could know about, or just chilling out together - couchsurfing is the best way to make awesome friends, fast!

Surfed in Costa Rica (this might not seem amazing to you, but I'm pretty terrified of the ocean and was a huge deal to me!)
Hitch-hiked my way from Costa Rica to Nicaragua
Got hit by a truck in Indonesia (and survived)

I can teach you some Yoga asana, English, and share travel stories. I also want to learn Hindi, and practice my Spanish and Portuguese.
I would love to learn about country life. My partner and I are interested in homesteading, living on a ranch, and he’s interested in learning to fish/hunt (not for me, haha). I have experience riding horses, working on a farm and growing a garden but would love to learn more.

We can practice Yoga asana and meditation together! I can also share my travel stories and tips for visiting other countries or traveling the US. I’ve travelled quite a bit with very little money.
I’m also a mental health worker, so if you’re interested in psychology I’m a good person to chat with!
