I’m in a wonderful and transitional phase of life… recently escaped the rat race in NYC after working in the administration and operational side of the Broadway industry. I’m back in my hometown in Wisconsin opening my own small business called The Corner Store, a soda fountain and gift shop. 🏡☕️🍦

Life looks pretty different these days, but I still love traveling and meeting new people along the way.

I’m a chill, clean, sober, adventurous, open minded, and respectful guest. I like to try at least one new experience on every trip, whether that’s food, an activity, or just seeing a place from someone else’s perspective. I’m into hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, adventure sports, and taking care of my plants.

I have a passion for travel, exploration, and new experiences. I’ve found that the people in the couchsurfing community have similar passions and are also very open minded, kind hearted, and free spirited. What better way to travel and explore than with, or with the advice of, this great community. I stay in touch with my Couchsurfing friends and feel very fortunate to have so many meaningful global connections and memories, not just a pile of hotel receipts.

I have a long list of “amazing” things I’ve been able to do thanks to traveling and Couchsurfing! Some of the best are: scuba diving along the Great Barrier Reef, hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, a hot air ballon ride over the French countryside, surfing on Waikiki Beach Hawaii, river drifting through the Daintree Rainforest Australia, bungee jumping in Queenstown New Zealand, swimming through ancient Mayan canals of Sian Ka'an Mexico, and the most amazing is becoming sober. 🙌

I’d be happy to teach you about the Broadway industry. I used to direct live television, so I can share about that as well. I’m no expert, but I can teach you how to keep plants alive.
