About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Do something good every day - even if that's just giving someone a smile or a couple of nice words
ABOUT ME
I'm Russian and Serbian, which also means I speak both languages. And apart from English, I'm also really fluent in Spanish. I will need to establish communication with you before accepting your request, so don't be surprised if I decline you after receiving a short one-line couch request from you, because if there is nothing you have to say to me when you are asking to stay in my home, then how can I expect you to communicate with me when you arrive?
And there is another very important reason why I need to take some time to communicate with you before I accept your request. I have a wonderful little girl, Masha (born in 2019), who speaks Russian and Serbian and is learning English and other languages. She is very friendly and likes guests even more than I do, but she will be a little bit shy when she meets you for the first time. Masha and I will do our best not to disturb you while you are sleeping in your room, but guests are also expected to like little kids and not be noisy in the evening when Masha is asleep, and, of course, behave in a way that is appropriate with a little child around the house. So please also make sure to read all the information on my profile before sending your request so you would know I'm the right host for you.
Masha and I prefer people staying with us for several days, many times when my Couchsurfers and I worked out really well together I was happy to have them stay for more than a week or two, but if you are only staying in Belgrade for 2-3 days I will be happy to host you providing our schedules match (it's really no fun hosting a person you don't even get to have a good talk with). I'm really not too happy having people stay for only 1 night.
