ABOUT ME

First time I wrote my profile was in 2008 when I first started it. So much has changed since then, from what I use to pursue in life changes. I still surf, that is one of the things that I could never ever let go of. Have lived in Bali almost 16 years now and that is about the same time I started surfing. I use to be a surf instructor for 3 years and while at night I would learn to DJ, and not knowing at the time that now it is how make a living : making people dance, bop heads, and tap their feet.

Aside from that, I love to go adventuring. Exploring new places, camping under the stars and eating camp food. I am one of those mix race human, so im not really considered Indonesian nor a complete foreign although my perfect American accent tends to make people wonder where I come from. Even when I also speak perfect Indonesian, people still wonder.

I am openly queer in a country that considers it being a taboo, but luckily Bali is a special case island. It's not 100% acceptable but no one is going to get stoned here, fyuuuuhh.

PHILOSOPHY

2008 : hmmmmmm.... I just go with the flow i guess...and let the current take me where ever it is going.

2015 : Present positive and happy energy to whatever you do and most of the time it will be returned to you.

Have hosted from 2008 for a few years and overtime life needed to be dealt with. So currently only able to spare a bit of my adventurous life to couchsurfing.

I love La vie en Rose, Transformers, Lord of the Rings 123. Matrix 123,Bobby, Jalanan, Act of Killing, Life of Pi, Interstellar, the Artist and any world war 2 movies (basically from that era) also I love victorian movie theme.

For music, i pretty much like everything from ambient, chill to House, progressive, electro clash, Drum n Bass, hip hop, reggae, Dub, bass, garage and trip hop

I love Haruki murakami (kafka on the shore) Neil Gaiman (neverwhere, stardust) Shantaram, Hotel K, Snowing in Bali. Tolkiens.

I already mentioned it before that i surf, so i would be more than happy to teach and share that experience! I also DJ, so that means we can definitely do a music swap.

Im pretty much interested on a lot of things, I'd love to learn Spanish or Portugese though.
