My name is Mina. I’m originally from Iran and have been living in The UK for the last 7 years. Unfortunately I wasn’t really able to travel with my Iranian passports which is one of the top weakest passports in the world so you can imagine how grateful I am now that I have British and able to travel without any discrimination. I’m new to Couchsurfing and can’t wait to meet up and make friends from here.

There's nothing better than meeting really interesting people and talking about their travel experiences and making friends while traveling. More than anything, I think the most important thing in life is to have fun, find something that you genuinely enjoy doing and all the better if you can have awesome people around you while you're doing it. I feel most alive when I travel. I seek to know stories and make meaningful friendships.

I’d prefer to stay with a host so I can get to experience more than a typical tourist and learn more about their country/city culture and their experiences , ideas and hopefully I get to build a bond which will be cherished for many years to come.

It's my goal to make my hosts feel that I'm using this app the way it's meant to be- as a way to make some awesome friends from around the world and spending time with them, not as a way of getting free accommodation.

As a guest, I am tidy and respectful. I can come across a bit shy at first but really enjoy a good company.
