I wanted to travel to expand my horizons and see how the rest of the world lives. I've read several articles suggesting that the best way to immerse yourself in a new country is by spending time with the locals.

I love all kinds of music. My playlist has a lot of different genres, from metal and folk to rap and dubstep. I'm in a choir and I'm learning to play piano and would like to one day learn violin. I also own a didgeridoo which was a gift.

Favourite movies are superhero movies such as Avengers, and 'mind fuck' type movies like fight club, prometheus or arrival.

I tend to read more non-fiction books. My 2 favourite books are 'Journey of the Peaceful Warrior' and 'Thinking Fast and Slow'.
