About Me

(Currently, I am travelling in Europe. Therefore, I am not able to host until January)

A Cambodian traveller and couchsurfer, who has been to 16 countries in Asia, Europe, and Canada. My goal is to visit 30 countries before I turn 30. (17 Countries More in 5 Years)

I love travelling to new places, experiencing new culture, tasting new food, and making new friends. It is a beautiful memory. Watching football match is also my favorite.

I am a student of Master of Public Policy Program in Singapore. Currently, I am doing semester exchange in Berlin.

I want to be a social entrepreneur using big data to solve problem. After attending a social entrepreneur summer school in Munich and big data school in Canada, I find that I love social entrepreneurship and big data. I hope to contribute more to the development of my country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- Make friends around the world: CS enables me to know the unknown. We did not know each other at first, but hosting-visiting is the beginning. After staying with my first host in Toronto, she becomes friend with me and welcome me to Toronto again at anytime.

- Appreciate Culture: I did my first CS in Toronto Canada. I met Terry, a very nice host in Toronto, who also brought me to Art Museum in Toronto. It was where I understood about the painting and appreciate more the beauty of painting.

- Eat local food: staying with local bridges me to know the best local food.
In Singapore, seafood at Chomp Chomp Food Center, Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Center, and Nasi Lamak at Adamfood Center.
In Toronto, I got to know about several very nice local food such as Aunty&Uncle for typical Canadian breakfast (Peameal Bacon, Fried Potatoes, home-made ketchup, and home-made juice = The best breakfast ever) and Sunrise Restaurant for Delicious&Affordable Korean Food (Recommend Grilled Beef Rips) .
In Paris, Le Bouillon Chartier is one of the best and very affordable restaurant to have French food and wine (approx 20Euro for Main Dish, Wine, and Dessert = Very affordable for Paris Price).

- Love Eating Cheese:
We do not have cheese in Cambodia, so I did not eat cheese at first. But, When I visited Paris, I stayed with a local friend. They took me to grocery store telling me about cheese and cooked me several dish with Cheese. After that, I become a lover of cheese.

- Understand about Wine: My trip in Porto and Paris taught me a little bit about wine. Thus, I should do more CS and know more about wine. :)

-Learning more: I hope to know more about the other country and other traditional through my travelling and CSing.

Interests

Third, Sport: Table Tennis. I love table tennis. Once, I got a medal in the university competition.
