ABOUT ME

I work with kids at an after-school care program, and facilitate creative groups with pre-schoolers and school-aged kids. I babysit for a couple of families, and I'm slowly working on being a Doula.
I'm pretty open, communicative and sensitive, and I'm non judgmental. I'm definitely human.
I like space and time to myself. Time with my friends is also cherished. Cooking good meals together and making music makes me cheery, an so does helpin people out.
I am definitely queer which means briefly that I accept a wiide range of differences in me and others. We could talk a lot about this too and what it means to people personally.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you wanna do an it'll be okay!!
I believe if we are ourselves we will find the things that fit us all best... I want to have more faith in finding the right things at the right times, and in my intuition.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well I have mostly stayed at people's houses around Canada before I was ever in couch surfing.
There have always been people on my floor, couch whatever..and it sucks now that I am actually connected with this that I can't let people stay.
Last summer I stayed with a few of people (in and out of cs) for a while and it was a great experience...I can't wait to get back out on the move, or to open my couch up to some story filled wanderers!

I enjoy movies that leave me thinking. Documentaries are great!
Right now books/websites interesting to me are about midwifery/childbirth/pregnancy. I love to listen to book cds and 'This American Life' while creating stuff. Libraries rock.
I listen to Beck, Ani Difranco, Kliengeldprinzessin, Tarif De Haidouks, Kaki King, Tori Amos.. and anything else that evokes feeling in me.

I'm a great seamstress and can help you with any repair that you may need. I learn quickly, and like hard work like renovating or building etc., and organizing, sewing, so if you need help in these areas while I'm there or you're here, just ask :)
