Long story short-
I'm a graphic designer. I grew up in Mexico, went to college in the US (Springfield, MO) on a tennis scholarship, stayed for another 6 years working at a non-profit and later a cosmetics company in Dallas, TX. 10 years total in the US. Work wasn't fulfilling, so I sold everything and moved to Barcelona in February to do a masters in Film Business and Production. Living in Paris for the summer.

Interests-
I love to travel (groundbreaking, I know). I love sports. Especially tennis and football. Art museum geek, on a quest to find the best French fries, cinephile (I'll quote movies all day long), posses seas of useless knowledge, I watch an unhealthy amount of "Friends", coffee drinker extraordinaire, enjoy finding treasure in vintage and second-hand stores, and I'm very easily distracted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two reasons (mainly):
1. I love meeting people from all over the world. I think it's so interesting and there's no better way to experience a place than with someone who lives there. They always know the best places and have the most interesting stories.
2. Remember how I said I sold everything? Well... I'm on a budget, so I want to make the most of my year abroad without breaking the bank.

Well, ok... *talks to herself and stares at the floor "just be cool"*
Um... I guess I can be proud of a couple of things. Went to college in a different country on a tennis and an academic scholarship, and graduated with an excellent GPA.
I wasn't happy with where I was in life, so I took a shot and sold everything, quit my job and moved to another country (again), not knowing what the outcome would be but hoping for the best. So far, best decision I've ever made.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish, English, tennis, photoshop, illustrator, how to fit anything you want into a suitcase, swing dance.

*Almost* anything you wanna teach me, I'm down to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share - I'll share my food with you just as long you share yours with me too. I'll share pictures of puppies and memes with you. What else could you possibly need? Haha! I'll share my stories and I'd love to hear yours :)
