Overview
About Me
I’m an interdisciplinary artist with an emphasis in tattooing and photography; I am also a 500hr certified yoga teacher and spiritual director. I live in with my partner on a beautiful property in San Diego where we host friends, warmshowers travelers, Couchsurfers, traveling musicians, and other wanderers. We are all learning how to Be together in this world, and Couchsurfing is a way to embrace each other with trust and love!
I love hosting Couchsurfers because it feels like participating in creating the world I want to live in. I also see it as a spiritual practice of sorts, being able to offer safe, warm, loving space to those who need it, whether for one night or five.

*****Make sure you read “My Home and Preferences”
I am an introvert, my tattooing job requires a lot of social presence and energy, my life is fairly full, and I need downtime in the evenings, so please don’t take offense if I need to peel off at night to decompress, especially if I have worked that day. I love spending time with Couchsurfers, and depending on my energy level and availability would love to have quality time and share stories over tea (I don’t drink alcohol!), but depending on my schedule, may not have the capacity. My partner will also be around, and he may or may not have social energy to engage deeply, depending on the day. I will communicate my needs, but please be self sufficient and content to tend to yourself if I’m needing my space :)
NO ANIMALS ALLOWED - we cannot accommodate pets unfortunately!
🕯🌈 PLEASE DON’T SEND A REQUEST FOR MORE THAN TWO WEEKS BEFORE YOUR STAY. I understand the need to plan, but also don’t know what my life will look like months in advance.
I’m happy to host folks who haven’t Couchsurfed before, but I am unlikely to host men who don’t have any references or much information on their profile. Lots of hesitation hosting cops and military folks, particularly men. I love hosting women and queer people who haven’t Couchsurfed before and giving them a safe place to stay and a positive first experience!
Warning that if you stay with us, we are not coffee drinkers, so if coffee is essential to your mornings, you will need to provide your own or walk to 7-11 ☕️🩷

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing feels like a separate world where people treat each other the way we were created to. I think hospitality is the start to creating a society where we realize how beloved we all are. It is a way to experience culture and people in an authentic way where you just have to put it out there that you need help and shelter, and people respond. How beautiful is that, that through vulnerability and asking for help, we connect?
