I'm a 20-something Canadian fella' currently enjoying life abroad. I used to work a long time as a chef back in Canada and I'm taking a break from the kitchen life and working as a tour guide in sunny Barcelona. I consider myself an intellectually curious person and I'm always looking to learn and discover.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I had my first couch-surfing experience a few months ago and while having been a member for years it truly was an eye opening moment, I really believe it is the most exciting and authentic way to make connections and to enjoy the full flavor of travelling.
Music, Movies, and Books
I read mostly fiction and fantasy novels, some of the classics like Orwell, Huxley, Hemingway. Currently reading Oliver Twist cause why not. I enjoy certain types of hip-hop, a lot of 70's 80's Folk Rock, Rock n Roll, but my true heart and soul lies in the electronic music genre.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Burning man is pretty amazing, I recommend every do it at least once! Also, there was this one time me and like 12 other crazy human beings that I had never met before drove around North America in an camper van full of hundreds of boomboxes and threw roaming street dance parties in cities across North America and Europe. https://youtu.be/JGuhailQK9c
What I Can Share With Hosts
I will cook you a hot meal and maybe show you a thing or two about cooking. We can sit around some cold beers and share stories and experiences, I also am very famous for bad puns.
My Interests
I love to cook food, I love to learn how to cook new food or to eat something I've never eaten before. I enjoy getting outside of the city sometimes, taking in fresh air, going for a long hike or visiting a nice place to enjoy a sunset (or a sunrise). History also is one of my main passions, I love learning the history of places, I find it's one of the best ways to understand a person or a city's culture.
