ABOUT ME
PLEASE READ:
1) SUMMER HOLIDAYS: I'm on holiday July and Agust. I travel I'm not home. It's in my profile but since most people is not reading it I'm forced to put in bigger here.
2) IF YOU ARE NEW TO CS START BY HOSTING. If you don't host I won't host you!
3) EXPLAIN WHAT WOULD I LIKE ABOUT HOSTING YOU, if we have nothing in common maybe we're not a good match!

Now this is me....

I'm really bad trying to describe myself.
Of course I love to travel and to meet pleople from all over the world! That's why I joined CS.
I'm 40 and I'm a spanish chemist living now in Menorca.
I moved here after spending a few years working and travelling in the Czech Republic and in the States and of course in Spain.

A few years ago I realised I could work and still travel a lot, so I decided to move to NYC for a couple of years and then back to europe during 2008 to work in the Spanelske Gymnazium in Bystrc as a science teacher and finally on 2012 back to the US for two more years in Oak Park just outside Chicago.
Right now I'm living again in Menorca a wonderful island in the Mediterranean Sea.

When living with my parents my brother and I had many rotary-club student exchanges so I know how interesting it is to meet people from everywhere and share the daily routine with them. I'm an openminded, funny and superinteresting woman :-) . Love people that make me laugh and with joyful attitude to life. I like walking, photography, music, sunsets, nature... Life is too short to stay at one place, right?

I try to enjoy live, be nice with everybody, and help whenever I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the foreign language meetings and though I'm not always available for hosting travellers I love to go out for dinner or a drink or show around the island when I'm in Menorca. Without a car it's quite difficult specially in winter and I love to go out, to walk Camí de Cavalls, so you can join me!

I host CS's specially during winter time when I'm not travelling that much, but I don't host for only one night as I want to share with you and learn a bit about you!

I like hosting people with whom I share interests, hobbies, experiences. I don't host people with no references in their profile or those who never have hosted before requesting a place to stay.

Menorca gets quite busy during the summer months and I get many requests of people that want a place to stay for a week or ten days, or for 4 friends, or people who just want to sleep in Mahon because it's close to the airport and convenient for them. Sorry but I don't even bother answering to these requests, I'm a bit tired of those who don't read the profile and send massive mails to just absolutely everyone. If you want to meet me, and stay with me please read carefully my profile.

When I'm travelling I love to meet CSs who can show me local places of interest outside the typical touristy places and that's what I try to do when pleople visit me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always excellent here in Spain and in the Czech Republic.
I love to have people staying over but I'm still shy to ask someone to host me and I've only been couchsurfing in Japan, and it was great!! More that great!

I love music, for the last three years I've had the chance to attend a few festivals and many concerts while living in Chicago and I really enjoy them.
I like rock music and Radiohead, Wilco, Yo la tengo or Sufjan Stevens are amongst my favourite bands. Also like jazz music specially pianists like Jeith Jarret and just love Avishai Cohen.

One of my favourite movies is Until Sunrise.

Watching the sunset in Delicate arch, in Arches NP is something I'll never forget.
Spending the night in the white dessert in Egypt.
Having dinner with our rickshaw driver and his whole family in Delhi.
