ABOUT ME

I'm Joana from a small village in the north of Portugal, close to the border with Galicia.
I really like to travel and my gold was change country every 6month till I was 30th... I missed that part already!

I like to read novels and listen rock music. I love dogs, mountains and since 2014, I have been learning how to love agriculture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience in C.S was in Kazakhstan with a C.S friend. I really enjoyed the experience and i decided to be a C.S too.
Since then, I recived some people at my place and also surfed somewhere in Scotland and S.A.
Nowadays, I can't offer a place for surfers, but I'll do it again asap!

Interessi

I like to do sports, I used to swim a lot, now I do it but not in a professional way anymore. I do love agriculture, indeed I gave up of my career as mining engineer and started my own business at my home town. Nowadays, I'm working in my litle farm, producing amazing kiwi berrys!
I also like music, rock mostly, but I can enjoy other styles, I'm open to anything different.
I love animals in general, but I must say that dogs are my favourites

Musica, film e libri

I really like rock. My favourite band is Tool, but i also like a lot Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus,Joy Division,NIN, The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire....
I spend a lot of time reading. I like historical romances, and one of my favourites righter is Manuel Alegre. I also like Isabel Stilweel, another Portuguese either...I'm not really fan of cinema, but some of my fouvorites are fight club and inception.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

One of the most amazing things that i did was the trip by foot to Santiado de Compostela.
And one of the most funny times that i spent was during my Erasmus in MAdrid.Was really nice time :)

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach how to cook some nice portuguese food. I think I can say that I'm an ok cook so....
