To get in touch with interesting people. I mostly travel alone, and at times, it can be boring being all alone. Having a good company at some remote locations is a great gift. Made great experiences with Couchsurfing in Iran, Tajikestan and Dubai!!! Actually, my best friends, I met via Couchsurfing :)
