Of the movies I've seen recently I really liked Lars v Trier's Melancholia and Everyone else by Maren Ade. My all-time favourite is Jazz Club, by the german comedian Helge Schneider.I like american writers, Roberto Bolano, Rick Moody, Philip Roth, Thomas Pynchon. Uh, and JM Coetzee.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
may sound geeky but to me it was amazing to introduce Nobel Prize winner Venki Ramakrishnan as the keynote speaker at a student conference.
