ABOUT ME

About me....mmmm... I think this question was originally devised by the greatest mind of all minds!! Grrrr :)

The one thing I love the most is a good old fashioned chin wag, I really enjoy conversing with people and finding out about their "journey" through life.

There isn't a lot that will stress me out and I will try most things once.

My closest friends tell me that beneath this chilled exterior lies a very complicated soul. I tell them "it takes one to know one" :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Just do it". Yeah, I stole this from Nike but I like it. If you have to take a moment to think twice about something, the moment might be lost forever... ever... ever... lol... and if it is, "Just breathe...and let it go" - that bit is mine, I think?! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first experienced a CS community at a Party in Peckham (London)which I was invited to by a good friend. I behaved in an old fashioned manner and quickly exclaimed "Are you nuts!, meet travellers through the Internet!". In the end I thoroughly enjoyed myself!! I was invited back to more events like paint-balling, and great parties (best of all so far was the divorce party in Brighton).

... and now here I am, Hurrah! I'm really happy for the intro to CS, cheers Dave!

Centres d'intérêt

I am very interested in photography, the kind of photographs that regular people take. I really enjoy seeing the world through other peoples photos.

In terms of hobbies, I am a keen Archer, I swim, occasionally rock climb (indoors at the moment) and I'm currently in search of a local kayaking club as I have fallen head over heels for the sport after a recent session of White Water Kayaking.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I would opt for a good documentary over a film most days. Recent books on my reading list include: The 5 People You Meet When You Die, A Million Little Pieces, Road Less Travelled, Life of Pie and Kite Runner.

My taste in music is very eclectic and I will rock to everthing! I really mean ROCK! forget a slow dance or the Tango, I'm a terrible dancer I will probably BOUNCE! BOUNCE! BOUNCE! when I'm supposed to step, step...gliiide hehe lol. But I love all music!!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I haven't travelled much (yet) but I did spend 3 months in Ghana, living and working with small isolated communities. I let go of everything (material) that I had & all of my worries back at home in London and amazingly I FOUND MYSELF!

Well, maybe I just found some of the small parts of the bigger puzzle that is one-day soon going to be me. It's a start!... Nah?!
