CURRENT MISSION hit the books, play play play ABOUT ME i'm an artist/writer/professional hustler in asheville, just graduated. i love traveling-- i've lived all over the u.s. and in greece for three months. i worked on a farm in belize, bummed around guatemala, housesat on st. john in the USVI, just got back from italy/sicily. next summer i think i'm doing a southern-france-northern-italy-austria trip. i live in a really great house and have a really great studio in a really great town. i try to travel as much as possible, but asheville's a nice place to come home to. PHILOSOPHY work/learn as much as possible, be polite/generous, have capacity to be excited/exhillarated, don't wait for other people to do things

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE when i lived in greece i hosted two boys from israel and one from turkey. in asheville, i hosted a couple more really nice, gracious people. i've also stayed with people in boston and new york, and i've only had good experiences with cs.
Music, Movies, and Books
bluegrass, old (dirty-sounding) blues, 60s beach rock, and new music: the notwist, the magnetic fields, the black keys, the books (the the the), os mutantes, harlan t. bobo, metric, nicki minaj/young money, a lot of stuff, mostly any genre if it's good except heavy metal and smooth jazz. roald dahl, zadie smith, jonathan safran foer are great writers, but i like books/reading in general. i think my favorite movie is my own private idaho... i like a lot of movies.
