We are a couple, Maëva and Romain, living in Lyon from early 2020.
29 and 31 y.o., we are both curious about new people, and new things to discover and learn.
Right now we are looking for new jobs in Lyon as we just came back from some time abroad (we travelled in central Asia then stayed 1 year in Japan).

CouchSurfing is a great platform to put in touch people willing to meet folks from other horizons : it enables the travelers to enjoy their travel experience the most by sharing a piece of local's life, as well as it allows the hosts to share a part of one's individual travel.

兴趣

Maëva:
I love learning new stuff to do with my hands, especially artistic ones.
I enjoy tasting new meals and how to make them.
I love stories, so I like reading books and comics, watching movies, observing around me and imagining a lot of things.
I'm interested in pedagogy and how humans (espacially children) build themselves.
I'm also interested in some kind of practice as yoga, dance, meditation and climbing.

Romain:
I like everything close to travel account (books, reportages, photos...), as well as to travel myself.
I enjoy reading a lot, and learning new things.
I enjoy small things, and can turn into a child in front of really simple stuff.

TRAVEL GEMS:

In Sri Lanka:
after one month in this country where everybody always wants to know where you're going, when walking in Colombo, an old man came to us to ask "where are you going?". Tired of explaining that we were having a walk, we pointed a direction and answered "this way".
What a genius mind this old man had when he nodded a bit, before pointing the same direction and saying "Yes. It's this way".
