Hello, my name is Matheus, but my stage name is Bat.

I'm a singer, a rapper born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I have more than 400 million views on my songs.
I've recorded with great names in Brazilian music such as: Barbara Labres, Lourena, pagode gang and even with Edi Rock who is one of the members of Racionais MCS, the largest rap group in the history of Brazil.

I've already advertised for brands such as: Azul, Airlines, Amarula, Marica City Hall. I currently live in São Paulo, but I'm always in Rio because of family and friends. I know everything in both cities.

In March I'm going to Capetown - South Africa I'll spend 1 month there.

In addition, I develop social projects focused on people of social vulnerabilities via tax incentive laws, companies, and I have my musical label called Afrosons of black music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet people, learn about their cultures, improve my English and learn new languages....

My favorite movies are: City of God (BR), City of Men (BR), Scarface, the search for Happiness, Wall Street Wolf, two children of Francisco (BR), Godfather.

My favorite books are: The biography of Tim Maia written by Nelson Mota, smarter than the devil, the richest man in Babylon.

I will teach you Portuguese and also all the slangs of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. I want to improve my English speaking and listening and if you speak another language I will want to learn about it too.
