I want to meet people and hear their stories, understand their lenses and impressions of the city they live in, trust their expert suggestions and vibes.

兴趣

I am interested in people and the connectedness of the world. Sometimes that manifests as an interest in foreign languages, histories, or films, and sometimes I'm just incredibly happy to people watch from afar or have a deep conversation with someone that shifts my perspective.

As for "normal" "hobbies" : I am a semi-regular yoga practitioner and a humble photographer (cargocollective.com/messex). I used to exercise a lot, I also used to drink a lot of craft beer but now I like plants.

I'm no critic. All music has a time and place. In general I lean towards simpler, earthy sounds (indie, bluegrass, funk) but also enjoy some trip hop, jazz, reggae.

Rick & Morty is my favorite show and I love documentaries on pretty much anything.

I like to read philosophy and non-fiction in my free time. Favorite fiction authors include Milan Kundera and Jonathan Franzen.
