PHILOSOPHY

I can share with you that i have never ever felt happy from any material thing and ambition and recognition are momentarily joyfull. They require you to keep focused on nothing but your own self satisfaction, your desires. True happiness comes from giving, forgiving and not being self obsessed. It's much harder than the first, but they joy lasts alot longer and it feels right, because the returns are not to you. They are within you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted quite a few people and surfed a couple of times too. :)
I can't afford verification - and 102 AUD - is not about community or safety!
Yes, there will always be distrustful people but without them there would not be people you can trust - the majority - just like myself. It's the yin and yang of life - and if you want to travel down a wide paved road of safety - I think you will find - that you have not left your home of comfort yet - and thus haven't travelled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a couch, room, even a house for people that have come across my path. I have lived outside of my home most of my life, so I have had the pleasure of meeting people from around the world.

Check out interests. I like reggae music, documentaries and reading tawfiq al-hakim at the moment. One of the greatest writers ever.. Also check out Ibn Battuta if you think Marco Polo was interesting, you will like this guy..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing. I guess that means positive.. I believe I have done some wild dives in my days.. I believe a bit of balance is required in travelling these days, remember that each and every person you meet is a potential visitor to your own home some day, so go with respect and leave your own habits at home.
