Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people whose perspectives and experiences exceed my own ... or who just have some really good stories to share.
ABOUT ME
They need a Showersurfing subsidiary to CS! I'd hit people up for showers when I want to hang out in a city but camp vs surf. of course, there are plenty of freely accessible jacuzzis, pools, rivers, and lakes the world over, but then you don't get to see what hair products everyone uses. ;)
Somewhere in the above is a deep, metaphysical, subtle yet piercing metaphor disclosing all about me. If you find it, please tell me.
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
This begs but an endless series of missives. Rather, I would like to know what philosophy is there that is not "personal" such that it beseeches CS to distinctly ask for our "personal philosophy"? commercial? public? are our philosophies community property of some sort which we have no individual claim to?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Depends entirely on the others involved.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met some rich souls, from both sides of the couch.
Interests
Few of us can limit ourselves to a list short enough to fit inside a box. I used to think it was an attribute; now I know it's more a burden than a benevolence. (sidebar: One of my interests is answering mundane, cliche questions with the irreverence they merit. Big surprise!)
I have homes in various cities (so far COS, BLI, ABQ, PDX), so contact me if you wander to them. I have friends all over the planet too, so contact me if you want to meet some local yokels wherever you end up.

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch, I listen, I read. 3 out of 3, yet I don't feel so distinguished for scoring so highly. 🤷
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How about 3: Saved by an Irishman (youngest descendant of Michael Collins, Ireland's founding father) from certain doom as the misty & mystic "tablecloth" rolled upon and over us over Table Mountain (Cape Town), sprinting into the wee hours of the night and across the Turkish border taking with us our freedom and relief, shaken awake by police in an Argentine hospital spewing questions in Spanish all the while wondering what are they asking me, where are some of my teeth, and why are they operating on some guy in the same room as me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you that the benefit of sharing moments with souls who harbor likewise dispositions, but you probably know this if you're a CSer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything. I'm an open book ... but no guarantee it's written in a language you speak. 😸
