Hello Couch Surfers! My name is Alejandro , I am a 28 year old traveler originally from New York City!

I've lived and taught English in Thailand and Vietnam and have traveled to many countries in Asia and Europe.
I also served in the United States Marine Corps (US Military) for four years.

My passion for traveling started when I was 20 years old in the military and spent a whole year of my life on a HUGE navy vessel (google: USS Bataan to see pictures). We were at sea for a year but stopped in about 10 different cities in Europe and the Middle East and even Africa. Since then I've had a huge burning passion for traveling and I am trying my best to see as much as the world as I can while I'm here.

I'm currently riding a motorcycle through India and I am looking for friendly locals to help me get the most out of my experience :).

I want to try your food, see your sights, drink your drinks and generally just explore :).

I also want to learn as much about your culture, traditions, history and lifestyle as I can.

It's so amazing to see how people live in such far away and such different places than from where I'm from.
