HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I HOST THE COUCHSURFERS FROM THE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, HELP TO
FIND OUT ABOUT LATVIA, CUSTOMS AND CULTURE OF MY COUNTRY.
I f I HAVE A TIME i SHOW THE MOST INTERESTING PLACES OF RIGA.
I ALSO USE COUCHSURFING AS GUEST IN ANOTHER COUNTRIES ,COMMUNICATE WITH THE LOCALS.
THE SUMMER 2008 I have TRAVELLED A LOT AND MOSTLY USED TO STAY WITH THE MEMBERS OF HOSPITALITY CLUB. I MET A LOT of INTERESTING PEOPLE ,SO TO HAVE MORE CONTACTS I JOINED ALSO TO COUCHSURFING CLUB AND HAD SOME GUESTS AT MY PLACE. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dream always was to see a desert.I fulfilled it some years ago and what was the most amazing thing :I changed my opinion about desert how it looks like.It was very different from what I was taught at school.

Travelling like this means you don't have pay much money,but get possibility to exchange with various individuals of differrent countries and cultures.,SHARE THE STORIES.You can learn a lot from other travellers,get the new ideas and I hope somebody can learn something from my experience.I have been travelling more than 35 years .

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories about my impressions during my travelling to the different countries.I can teach some languages-Latvian ,Russian.
I can cook the Latvian food,share my favourite recipes.
