About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to meet and greet as many people as possible and have a ton of fun along the way.

ABOUT ME

Hi I'm all about the smiles and laughter. I love to chat and I'm a lingerer. Don't invite me to come on over unless you mean it because I do show up.

PHILOSOPHY

Love much, laugh often, Live well - I believe that if you do the first 2 things correctly you are living well

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
***Please note: We have a policy of not accepting CS requests from people who do not have references. The best way to do that is plan ahead and go to local gatherings with your hometown CS community and get references from those events.

***Also note we live 2.5 - 6 hours from NYC depending on traffic. Do not make a request if your goal is to stay in the NYC area.

I host, I surf, I hold CS parties and I attend CS gatherings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading about theology on world religions and philosophies. I also love an adventure story. Bill Bryson, Mary Roach and Erma Bombeck are my favorite authors because they make me laugh. Check out my book Lessons from the Road: USA - Very funny stories and epiphanies of my travels about the USA. Favorite movies include the Indiana Jones trilogy, Tomb raiders, mummy - anything that has antiquities, adventure and action. I also like romantic comedies. Almost any kind of music speaks to my soul - I have a very eclectic taste in music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While snorkling in Mexico - I was part of a school of fish. Not just swimming with the fish - I became a part of the school. There were fish on all sides of me and they followed my movements for a long while.

Camping under the stars in Vermont - the stars are amazing there on a moonless night.

Showering in a waterfall on the appalachian trail.

Sailing on a yacht in the Aegean Sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about a lot of outdoor activities such as letterboxing in North America, hiking, camping, archery.

I love new experiences and learning just about anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a bunk room on my travel Trailer in CT that is good for at least 3 people We might be able to make it good for more people. I like to work it out.
