Overview
About Me
I'm a writer (my first novel coming out in March, yeah! :)). I also work as a freelance journalist in non-fictional TV. I'm sometimes a little shy, but I always try to be open-minded, helpful and friendly. I enjoy talking, nice restaurants and relaxed evenings outside more than disco and dancing. I'm curious about the world and people.
I live and travel with my boyfriend Ulf, who's an artist. He's a very warm-hearted person, as me he is a little shy sometimes, but also very interested and invested in talking and getting to know new things and people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We both would love to meet new people and learn about different cultures, ideas and personalities. Always seeking inspiration, hoping to give the same back.
Music, Movies, and Books
I read almost anything I can get my hands on. Except crime-novels - somehow I rarely find them engaging.
I prefer series over movies, ranging from the ubiquitous Game of Thrones to less known but equally genius Rick and Morty.
Music I enjoy but am anything but an expert in. If I listen to something, it tends to be Podcasts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best experiences traveling I had in Ireland, where our host invited us to a a 'short walk' through the mountains. Five hours later my unprepared feet were hurting, I had a sunburn and was dying of hunger but nothing of that mattered as we reached the most secluded, pristine lake I ever saw. There where no traces of human life, no sounds but the wind, no feelings but peace and joy. It was just perfect.
Teach, Learn, Share
We're both open to share whatever we can and to learn whatever is offered.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share stories and ideas, learning from each other. Ulf's quite good with computers, so he could always lend a hand there. We both would love to be part of a household in more than just sleeping, helping with chores or cooking for example.
