About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Crossing Asia and Oceania by land, from India to New Zealand, visiting as many countries as possible, finding couchsurfers on the way and checking the hospitality of the locals!

ABOUT MYSELF

I'm from Buenos Aires and love to travel and meet people with different lifestyles, open my mind to new concepts and want to leave the comfort zone. I quit my jobs to fulfill my dream of spending my live traveling.
I believe that the only way to end with prejudice is by learning, experiencing and by trying to understand different cultures
I'm a ordinary guy who left everything behind to experience a new lifestyle. I want to travel the world and see it through my own eyes, not just visiting the most tourist places.
I been traveled extensively. I toured my country, visited some South American countries, toured Europe for several months, traveled by train and bus and slept at hostels or hotels. But for this trip, I'm determined to try new experiences and I want to establish a greater connection with the people and culture of the place I visit. That's why I want to make Couchsirfing my number one travel resource!
Regarding my likes, I like sports in general, especially football. I also like music, but I cannot play any instrument. I'm food lover, I love to walk and read.
I have a Facebook account called / delbarrioalmundo where I share my experiences and travel tips.

PHILOSOPHY

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness" Mark Twain

Living the day like it's your last!

For us human attractions are more important than tourist attractions.

A desire does not change anything, a decision changes everything

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about CS on my previous trips, so now I want to experience it as guest, and I will be happy to receive travelers in Argentina once I return home!
The most important part of a trip is to achieve a real connection with the local culture and there is no better way to achieve it than living as a local. That is the great possibility that CS gives me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost all kind of music, especially we like rock, reggae and a typical Argentine rhythm called cumbia. I like to read, especially about national and international history.
I love movies and series, especially action movies and those based on real stories. My favorite ones are Terminator 2, Lord of the Rings, and any film related to World War II. Among the series I prefer Lost, Game Of Thrones and Breaking Bad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my job and leaving my country, my families and friends behind, to travel the world and live the life I really want.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that we all have something to learn from each other...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer cultural exchange between South America and Asia to the hosts, which is the main reason why we both decided to join CS, either as guests or hosts.
