Overview
About Me
I laugh and care a lot. I’m a happy person who loves people. Worked as a social worker/community builder for 5 years in a multicultural area and love moving between different cultures to find basic human common grounds. I enjoy to sing, dance, play boardgames and get philosophical about life and love!
I know not all is well in the world, but I love to see the good. If you don’t enjoy that, I am not your person ;)
Let’s meet, see if we connect and continue from there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love when we act like we are all neighbors. Also: I travel to meet people. The most amazing waterfall won't stick with me like a great evening with a stranger who became a friend.
Interests
People and how we live together: sociology is my fascination. I love to meet people who have lived very different lives from mine and learn from their stories.
My friends joke and ask me which courses (plural) I am taking at the moment. Understandable as they go from
sewing, woodwork, djembe, saxophone, starting a cafe, frisbee, poetry/spoken word to,philosophy (5 different ones) to campaigning and stand up comedy (most recent). Now doing a parttime masters to fill my eagerness to learn.
I like that when you try to learn a new skill you grasp the complexity of it a lot more and it makes me realize how much effort goes into life and living.
