Sobre Mim

I embrace a simple, grounded life, deeply connected to animals, art, and nature. My world revolves around integrity, art, (Korean dramas...) and the quiet beauty of sunrises, sunsets, and soft, whispering breezes. Oh, and let’s not forget my love for organic vegan chocolate!

My greatest joys include crafting deliciously simple meals, immersing myself in art and craft, spending quality time with my pets, diving into a good book, and revelling in peaceful moments under the starlit sky.

At home, I’m joined by my spirited dogs and a couple of aloof-but-lovable cats. Some of my dogs are lively youngsters who adore meeting new people—don’t be surprised if they “borrow” your shoes for a playful game. It’s just their way of saying hello!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I’m on Couchsurfing as a way to connect with new people, even though I cherish my solitude and don’t often seek out social interactions.

It’s a space where I can share a bit of my time, offer some light conversation, and invite others to experience a small piece of Botswana’s beauty—sharing the land and the world we all call home.

O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões

I offer a stay at my beautiful, earthy retreat, The Land.

My home is nestled in the village of Mokatse, just 30 km from Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. It’s not the typical “romantic” or “iron age” village life you might expect in Africa, but it’s a true reflection of semi-rural village life in Botswana—come see for yourself!

Living close to nature means you’ll encounter the bugs and critters that come with it—just part of the charm.

Depending on time and schedule, I can also offer a visit to Gaborone, a hike up Kgale Hill, a trip to the Gaborone Game Reserve, or a wander around Main Mall.

I welcome requests for short stays, but if you're looking to stay longer, we can explore a WorkAway exchange instead.
