ABOUT ME

The fear of the unknown and the lure of the comfortable will conspire to keep you from taking the chances the traveler has to take. But if you take them, you will never regret your choice. To be sure, there will be moments of doubt when you stand alone on an empty road in an icy rain, or when you are ill with fever in a rented bed. But as the pains of the moment will come, so too will they fall away. In the end, you will be so much richer, so much stronger, so much clearer, so much happier, and so much better a person that all the risk and hardship will seem like nothing compared to the knowledge you have gained."

Love people for their character. Not for the characterists. Love those that you want to unconditionally and you will have lots of friends. Expect them to do the same for you. Be generous!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Three wonderful stays, one in Salt Lake City for one evening another night in Portland and six days in Seattle. We meet the nicest and most Fantastic people.

I am interested in so many things. People, Gardening, crafts, sports, travel, art, books, good conversation, musicals, (Lion King is fantastic) and much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just a mix of it all. Avid reader of both trash and treasure books. Mystery, vampire, (Anne Rice type) histories, biographies, WWII, The Catcher in the Rye, Anna Kareina, The Sun also Rises, The Trial, Deliverance, Falconer, Native American history and issues, things written by Ludlum for sure, things on freedom for political prisoners, helping hands, lots of others.
Love almost all music but not rap... Favorite musician is Al Green, coming a close second is Otis Redding'
Movies, favorite movie is 'Spy Game" and the rest are, The Godfather, Casablanca, sappy Gone with the Wind, The Graduate, adored Lawrence of Arabia, another sappy one, Doctor Zhivago, most Capra, DeMille, love Hitchcock, and love to detest Woody Allen's stereo-typical black and whites...

Teach, Learn, Share

Artist, do crafts, like to hammer. Hunt for subsistance and not for fun. Not judgemental by any means! Teach whatever it is that I know if someone cares to try.
