I grew up in the midwest US, currently live in a beautiful part of Japan, and am looking forward to traveling after I'm done with this job.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a fairly good-sized apartment that has plenty of room for anyone who would like to stay. I'm tied down at my job at the moment, but I once I'm done here I'm looking forward to doing a bit of traveling and hopefully being able to use CS to enhance the experience. I'm looking forward to starting hosting now to meet new people and pay it forward :D

I like music (I play guitar, cello, french horn, trumpet, and others), reading, yoga, rock climbing, snowboarding, exercise, and wasting time I should be using to do those things on Reddit, Facebook, and video games. I'm also dabbling with minimalism, as I've been a bit of a hoarder all my life.

Deep Water Soloing off Ton Sai beach in Krabi Province, Thailand. Jumping 15 meters off the side of a cliff into the water after climbing up it scared for my life... it was an incredible experience.
