About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey there! My name is Nathan, great to meet you! I grew up in Santa Cruz, CA before I left for college. I went to school in Oregon for a few years before leaving to travel around India for six months. After that I began school at UC Santa Barbara. While there I became a staff trip leader with the outdoor adventure club on campus and began working as a kayak guide at the Channel Islands. After graduating I spent some time studying for the MCAT and then working as a medical assistant and scribe. I recently left that job and began working as a guide in SE Alaska as well as a backpacking instructor for under-resourced teens. I am hoping to go on to med school eventually. I am a hard worker and am very respectful and clean.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the most important thing people can do is to learn about themselves and understand why they do the things they do. By understanding why you think in certain ways you can learn to see other perspectives and modify your own behaviors.
