About Me

To know as much as I can :)

I'm a nice guy, at least is that what the people around me say! and I think they are right. I'm not perfect but, who is? I can be shuy at the beginning, when I don't know someone. Am passionate about life: love to know new people, cities, countries, cultures, have fun, adventurous and many other things.

I try to take maximum advantage of life. And that means:
-Enjoy life as much as I can, I´m atheist, so I think this life is the only oportunity we have to enjoy. That´s why I hate the feeling about loosing time;
-Have a good relation with everybody and all living beings;
-Respect the earth and nature as something above us, something like god. If earth and nature are god, so yes, I believe in god.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I receive many requests all the time and I would like to accept all them but I just can't. :(

The reasons why I can't accept all the requests are:
-many of them coincides on the dates;
-another's are for two or more surfers but I really can't host more than one each time because my studio is really small;
-I have a friend in Bern that comes many times spend the week-end with me and I can't host more people when that happens;
-and, finally, I also must keep some time just for myself, although I love to meet new people and I would be happy by accept all the requests.

I hope you understand that and I'm sorry for not be able to respond positively some of your requests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A Protoguese, a Swede and two Poles in Paris:
Some time ago when I was living in Milan as a poor exchange student,I was traveling back home for XMas through Paris. Arrived at Orly airport late at night with connection flight to Porto early next morning. I was hoping to crash at the airport benches for the night, but apparently the airport closes for the night, with no where to stay in the figid tempreature, and now with two Poles in the same prdicament, we were asked to leave the airport. In search for a place to sleep, we came across a fellow traveller from Sweden, fully dressed in ski suit and with a bottle of whiskey. The four of us walked about a bit and then found one of he airport security. He took pity on our desperation and offered us to stay in the toilet next to the airport building. I must admit, this was a bit bizzare but given our condition, we had no choice and went along with the offer (by this time we were pretty drunk by consuming the big bottle of whiskey). We settled in the toilet and threw a rocuous impromptu party, causing me to throw up my guts on account of my dislike for whiskey. Sometime later, the same security guy comes with another 20 or so Latin Americans to join us in the toilet. To bring to en end our wild party, he asked us t switch off lights. To catch my flight and still in the dark, I felt my way about to gsther my stuff, stepping on people. I rushed in to the airport checking counter just un time before the gate closed but realized that I forgot my small camera on the toilet floor which I used ti snap some pictures of our toilet sojourn and party. Despite not having photos as a reminder, I still vividly remember that night. Of course with couchsurfing, that may never have happened...

Teach, Learn, Share

About couchsurfing, I hope to share what I can offer. That means, share and talk about interests, life experiences, travels, introduce to my city and placesof interest such as restaurans, bars, musuems and other cultural points of interest. etc.

I hope to get some experiences from others we cross path as well, and who knows maybe even forge lifetime friendships! From the others, I hope to have the same in return.

Above all, I hope to have very good experiences with other people, something that I would like to remember in the future... (in a good way of course)
