Traveling Veterinarian originally from the windy, rainy land of Aberdeen, Scotland.

After getting my degree I spent a year working as an exotic veterinarian up in Anchorage, Alaska where I was exposed to both long awesome winters and bizarre pets (such as alligators and Madagascar ground boas!). I'm currently based in Wollongong, Australia and work in an emergency hospital. My plan is to continue to travel the world with my job and meet people from all over.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to spend the rest of my life travelling and working across the globe, if you get a message from me, it's likely I've acquired a job fixing animals in that area. I've had the opportunity to travel to some pretty cool places, meet some pretty dope people and work with some interesting species. Meeting new people and hearing new stories is my favourite part of life, I'd love to hear what stories you have to tell.

Broke my back fighting a Romanian in Istanbul (...it was a scheduled fight)
Assisted in performing a caesarean section on a monkey
Hiked the West Highland Way (100 miles) in 4 days subsiding solely on a diet of peanuts
Charged by a bull moose hiking a 26 mile long trail in the middle of nowhere Alaska
Surprised a mother bear and three cubs whilst kayaking the Kenai River, Alaska
