Hey! I’m Nayan — a 26-year-old traveler, entrepreneur, and hospitality professional from Nepal 🇳🇵.

I am a also a photographer, videographer and content creator and you will find me and my portfolios if you search “toursbynayan” in any platforms.

When I am in Nepal, I am mostly busy with my tours i the mountains, going high altitude hiking, sometimes 6000 meters peaks or higher.

When I am traveling, I am mostly backpacking, chasing adventures, learning new sports and adventures.

I grew up in a family deeply rooted in the tourism industry.

Back home, I help manage a boutique hotel, Airbnb, restaurant, trekking agency, and a vocational training center in Kathmandu which belongs to my family. After years of hosting travelers in different platforms, I’m now out exploring the world myself.

I'm deeply connected to the mountains — they feel like home. I’ve guided treks in the Himalayas and love hiking, camping, and high-altitude adventures.

I’m also passionate about adventure sports like rock climbing, rafting, bungee jumping, and I’m always on the lookout for the next adrenaline rush! 🧗‍♂️🏕️🚣‍♂️

So far, I’ve traveled to 9 countries and volunteered in over 50 projects — from eco-lodges and hostels, exotic resorts, 5 star properties, schools, NGOs community programs, tours and trekking tours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

to make new friends, finding travel buddies, finding volunteering, learning, exploring, and share cultures.

Along with it, it has also helped me to understand people, as human beings are complicated beings.

Couch surfing has made my mind open. I believe i am open minded and won’t judge people for who they are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many

I have been to EBC, ABC, ATC, Langtang, Peaks and many high altitude mountains of Nepal.

I am done 200 km solo trekking when I was 17 y/o

I did bike ride and camping, solo in many highways of Nepal.

I have hitchhiked in countries where people ate scared to go.

I have made friends from everywhere in the world. Almost every country.

I did bungee jumping, from a bridge 170’m high.

Started my own business, when I was in college made good profit but closed it because it took away my freedom.

I can share my stories, take photos and videos for them, help with editing, digital marketing skills, cook (if they want to) but not so fond of, make drinks (coffee, mixology, etc, which I am fond of), general help.
