Born and brought up in rich heritage of India over 3 decades!
Been in UK since 3 years, completed my MBA in Birmingham, UK and then worked for Unilever for 2 years in London as Marketing professional.
Now my visa has ended and due to the job market and recession, my visa is not being extended, hence have to exit the country. Basically now directionless in life, career and personal balance.

Love to explore places and knowing people, having lovely conversations - have been to lot of places in UK and Amsterdam, Italy in Europe, Mexico, Bhutan, Indonesia. Traveller at heart :-)
I'm a warm person and believe in experiential learning, love life and the humour, learnings it offers.
I also totally dig the whole concept of surfing helping the larger community for the love for travel and help understand different cultures and people.
Surfing helps in understanding the deeper level of connection and build a network of awesome people around the globe! understand their language, culture, food and vibe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With my current situation, I have worked hard all my life and now feel the need giving myself some self-devoted time to regain my life balance, figure out my direction and start building actions accordingly.
Travel is very therapeutic for me and I know this will help me regain my focus in life.

The plan is to travel in Europe for 2 months, explore the regions, people, food, culture and along the way stumble upon my life's next choice.
The break of 2 months of self-exploratory journey will be super valuable personally from my hectic corporate life. Life has given me this opportunity and I want to make the most of it! When will I get a chance to do something like this if I'm employed!

Movies: Big movie buff! Love the Hollywood movies and few Bollywood ones.
Marvel and RomCom fan bigtime!

Music: Pure Bollywood buff for songs and my dancing passion comes out best in these. Into Latin dance forms like Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba.

Books: 'The Power of Now' completely changed my life's perspective, I highly recommend.
Read occasionally, more of self help, romance and sometimes others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped out of a train for a friend.
Missed a train, took a cab, the driver turned out to be fast and furious fan and ensured I catch the same train at next station! Of course he charged me crazy!
Completed part of my PADI scuba diving certification in Mexico recently.

This Europe travel will be my most amazing thing in life once complete!
