ABOUT ME

Im a fun and adventurous (i think) sort of guy. Always enjoy a bit of fun and trying something new. Although i can sometimes be quite shy at first. I love music and going to concerts and music festivals. Im also easy going and keep things relaxed.I lived in Northern Ireland for the first 18 years of my life. I moved to Leeds in 2004 and i dont really intend on leaving.Currently I am working at Rockstar Leeds, as a games content creator. We make computer games! It takes up most of my time so im not really available to host :( Working for a major developer also means that I am a bit of a nerdy, geek :) My job demands that I play lots of computer games and watch films and follow pop culture trends. It makes me a better designer haha, thats what I claim anyway!Its a busy life but im enjoying it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, and used to host. And hopefully I will again! Been to a couple of events in Leeds during the years I have been a member too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good!Hosted twice, had lots of fun, and surfed a few times and also had lots of fun. Fun!

Interests

Music, movies and having fun. I love really stupid comedies like Liar Liar and Ghostbusters. Musically, I like things like Chemical Brothers, Eels, Neil Young, Beastie Boys, Nick Cave, Beck, Led Zepplin and Pulp. Quite a mix of stuff really.I like going to pubs and clubs, but mainly rock or indie nights. Dont really do much sports except running. I have ran a couple half marathons and in October 2009 I ran the Beijing Marathon. Since then my running has gone a bit downhill... I have been swimming and hopefully start rock climbing. I kinda started to salsa dance haha (my landlord teaches it). This is a bit infrequent at the moment but I intend to practise some moves and get to more classes. Although I should probably practise staying on my feet. There was an embarrassing incident... Haha.Love travelling and hope to get a lot of use out of this website! I enjoy scuba diving and just recently gained my Ocean Divers license with BSAC and training for my Sports Diver license.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed on the main stage at the Bestival Festival 06 in front of 20000 people, me and 99 other people with ukeles. We were a support band for the Beastie Boys. Incredible!The odd thing is that i can barely play the ukelele! I like to think i brought a lot of energy to the band to compensate. Although it was open to anyone with a ukelele but I still like to think I was special :)
