I'm a global nomad. I was raised in the US and Belgium. I've lived and worked abroad since I graduated from university in Antwerp, Belgium. Since 1997 I have lived in Switzerland, the UK, the US, Qatar and Peru and have traveled to over 30 countries. I'm passionate about traveling, meeting people and learning about other cultures. I'm very sociable and am outdoor person. I'm eager to learn and try new things. I look forward to sharing ideas about education and contributing to global projects.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I've been on couch surfing since 2015 but somehow my account seems to be deactivated. I joined when I moved to Peru and used to attend couch surfing meetups and volunteering events in Lima. It's been a great opportunity to welcome newcomers to Peru, learn from those living there and volunteer on social projects for children in poor communities.

I plan to start trekking and exploring the world for a couple of months and would like to meet others on my journey and learn from locals.

I hiked 70km to reach Choquequiroa, an ancient pre-incan city in Peru. I biked 1,000km in Belgium, France and Germany.
