I'm a Colombian Erasmus Student looking to cover many awesome destinations, explore different landscapes, connect with good people, learning a lot, doing sports and finding who enjoy these experiences as much as I do. I like daytime much more than nightime, and I don't do drugs or alcohol. I used to be vegetarian, so I'm good with a vegetarian diet but I can also enjoy meat. I am open-minded and flexible but also love planning ahead in order to have the best experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found this community to be a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and get to know locals in a way you couldn't possibly get by booking a hotel, and share enriching experiences with the hosts, and have the opportunity to get out and go into contact with nature and beautiful city experiences. I am happy with the host guiding me and going on an adventure with me everyday, or just sharing a few moments a day. Undeniably, not spending money on a hotel brings me joy too bc 1. it's so meaningful to know someone let me into their very home and 2. Money is limited so I can use that money to travel more 🥳

Interests

I enjoy learning about health, discussing experiences, climates and foods around the world. I like being active through cycling, jogging or going to the gym. I love fun facts about history, cultures and languages. Right now I'm into understanding Europe (history, culture, people, languages).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love positive vibes and the type of media that has a mix of virtuosity, relaxation, and romanticism. I listen to some of my compatriot artists such as Shakira and Andrés Cepeda, other hispanic singers 🕺🏻 such as Juan Luis Guerra, Natalia Jiménez and Ana Gabriel, and English-Speaking singers such as Adele, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and Beyoncé. I'd like to watch some movies that are similar to "Red, White and Royal blue" or disney movies and sing to some classical disney music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life's so full of changes. This year I packed my life and came to Europe. On my way here I thought , why go directly? I can visit NYC and Iceland OMY! And I did, I used couchsurfing for the first time and did so much solo traveling in a week, navigating public transportation with all my bags, meeting great people, eating tasty food, being amazed by everything I saw.
I'm 100% convinced that each international trip is eye-opening. I know not everyone has had these opportunities and there were also many that I didn't have, so I love challenges and I love sharing experiences with different people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's go on a hike, try a new recipe, lift some weights or go for a run 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏋🏻‍♂️⛹🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️, sing your favorite songs, and then cook something fun while talking about life. I can wash the dishes as well. I'm happy to teach Spanish or swap cultural insights, nothing is mandatory, it's about creating memorable, respectful, and fun moments together.
