About Me
-Sorry we can't host people anymore-
Hi I'm Nihad ! I'm 24 years old.
I'm sociable and talkative. I'm also an introvert so I might be quiet sometimes just gaining back some energy. 😇 My friends say that my face looks mean but promise you I'm not.
I'm studying German at university ( Master 2) love learning new languages but not only that. Like to discover anything new, you can be talking about same thing for ours and i will still be interested and fascinated in the subject.
I have started traveling recently and trying to explore as many countries as possible. Since I did it it quickly became addictive. I've been to Germany three times and my travel experience was completely different one from the other.
On the first one I was traveling with my mom and been staying at her friends place, also hotel. We didn't know anyone and have been visiting on out one, I sometimes wanted to go out on the evening but as my mom was tired i was also staying because I wasn't comfortable going alone. On the second trip that was on my own, decided to start using Couchsurfing, was afraid at the beginning, wether people are real, honest, with bad intentions or not. But didn't take me long to find out that it's a great concept. I enjoyed every stay. Of course people are different from what I know from my country but that's what make it special and extraordinary. It was much more fun than my first trip, Couchsurfers were helpful, kind. It always brings you something new! I'm looking forward to go to new places and always happy to get to know new people or meet the same ones. :)
THIS APP ISN'T TINDER
-If you're just going to text to write some things to get to know each other or ask for something.
-Perverted people who live nearby that send me a request to waste my time. -People that propose to host me just because I am a girl or because they feel lonely just don't.
This app isn't for that and you're making it unsafe for couchsurfers!
If you need advice or list of places to visit, no need to read the rest just write to me.
If you would like to stay keep reading.

Regarding your stay with me:
I live right in the city center of Algiers. At Didouche Mourad street, you can Google it.
I live with my family here is the profile of my sister:
https://couchsurfing.page.link/XdifxjfLbV51TX2u5
I can usually host for 2-4 days. We can accommodate 1-2 people, 3 people are also possible if you cannot find a host.
We sure can discuss it.
Late requests are fine too, even if it's 3am and you cannot find where to sleep you can send a request, i will try to always be available.
When you're one guest you would have my room, when you're two people then you would have to sleep in the living room because it has a convertible sofa.
The appartement/bed aren't super comfortable but I still choose to host people because I want to give back to the community and help other travelers. To know their culture and learn when meeting different personalities. So if you're looking for a more comfortable place and space I recommend you to see other surfers if you don't mind it the couch is yours! And you would be in the city center where everything is across.
You also need to know that Algeria has water drought during the past years and Algiers is now under water restrictions. There's water everyday until around 13h-15h, but we still always have water reserves.
-You can have clean towels if needed. The sheets and covers will be freshly prepared for you. You can use wash machine for your clothes, hair dryer etc,
-For personal care products it's better if you bring your own, but if you don't have it's also okay, you can ask me because I know some people travel with just a backpack and can't take these things with them.
-There's a small fridge in the living room and TV you can use.
-You can always talk to me about your likes and dislikes.
-You can eat out or at home, or cook to your heart's content or cook together. Just keep the place clean after you, just like you find it before.
-There is no WiFi but I can share my internet connection with you.
-If you are staying with me and would like to go camping I can lend you my equipment.
-Sometimes I host even when I'm not home, my family would still be there and happy to have you around.
-We are are an open minded family but we cannot tolerate any form of discrimination, hate or racism under our roof, please always be respectful toward other people, their culture and traditions even if it's weird to you.
-Our home is safe place for all beliefs as for non-believers, LGBTQ people and all nationalities are welcome. 🤗
Before sending a request please include "Yuki" in your message so that I know that you read through my profile.
Finally, just bring your good vibes with you.💟🙏
As for the time to spend together, it will depend on the day, as I study, work and go to the gym, I take piano lessons too, so I don't always have a lot of time to devote to you except during weekends and holidays but at least I will try to be available. Sometimes my sister could also take care of taking you to visit.
We'll just have to discuss it, so if you'd like to see someone else or go out with me we'll be on the same page.
Transport is just across the street: bus, metro, taxi (taxis in Algeria are affordable, much cheaper than in Europe but always need to be careful to not be scammed).
Other:
Which SIM card to buy?
-If you are going to move in remote places, like mountains choose 👉 Mobilis.
-If you will be mainly in town 👉 Djezzy.
Useful apps for your trip to Algeria:
-Jumiafood to order food.
-Yassir/ -Heetch (transport apps like UBER, they often give discounts that you should not forget to activate before validating).
I think that's all, if you have any questions about anything feel free to write to me!
😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the best thing I've done while travelling. When I can't travel I want to receive travellers to host them and also for the pleasure of exchanging and knowing their culture. I want to be part of this community because as a traveler I know what difficulties others can face so in order to avoid it I want to offer my help and also because I believe traveling shouldn't be a luxury that not everyone can afford, but something everyone should experience. ❤️
