ABOUT ME

I'm an American English teacher enjoying life in Masan, South Korea! People always assume I'm very outgoing and adventurous for moving to the other side of the world, but I'm more reserved than that. I'm respectful of others, friendly, and have an easy time talking to almost everyone.

Mostly to get recommendations for things to do and eat, but perhaps one day I'll be courageous enough to try staying with a host.

兴趣

I'm very domestic and enjoy baking, cooking, cleaning (yes, really!), watching my favorite TV shows, snuggling cats, and reading good books. I'm also on the path to early retirement, so being frugal is important to me.

I like indie, classical, jazz, and all sorts of other music that has a good beat or melody. I read mostly fiction and have no snobbery toward excellent popular culture artifacts like Harry Potter ;-)

Viewing the Busan Fireworks Festival from a 13th-floor apartment, front and center. This festival is always PACKED, but I was able to escape the crowds and get an even better vantage point!
