Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Nikola – a musician, songwriter, poet, athlete, and full-time curious human.
I blend jazz, blues, and rap into my music, writing introspective, melancholic lyrics rooted in poetry. As a songwriter and performer, music is my way of translating emotion into rhythm and word.
I also created and fully produce my own music show – a mix of live performances and podcast-style interviews – where I bring together both well-known and emerging artists from Serbia and the Balkans.
Before music took over, I played professional basketball until I was 24. I still play 3x3 recreationally – basketball remains one of my greatest passions.
I’m a dedicated runner, too – I’ve finished a marathon, several half-marathons, and recently started trail running.
I love hitchhiking, camping, and traveling without a set plan – meeting people, sharing stories, and discovering beauty in the unexpected. Books and poetry are my daily fuel, and I’m always up for meaningful conversations and spontaneous adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel to go beyond the typical tourist experience – to meet people, share stories, and truly feel a place through its culture, music, food, and energy. I love spontaneous trips without fixed plans, and Couchsurfing is the perfect way to connect with locals and see the world through their eyes.
And when I’m hosting in Serbia, I offer the same in return – a local perspective, good conversation, and a taste of real life here, whether it’s music, nature, or just a walk through the city with stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked with 4 people from the monastery in Montenegro and the first person we asked drove us to Belgrade exactly to the apartment and if he doesn't live in that city
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer a private room in a large three-story house with spacious, traditional Balkan-style terraces.
If you’re into music or just curious, I can also offer access to a fully equipped music studio located in one of the rooms.
Whether you’re looking for a calm space to relax, a deep conversation over coffee, or a spontaneous jam session – you’re welcome here.
I enjoy sharing local culture, stories, music, and helping guests experience Serbia in a more personal, authentic way.
