ABOUT ME

Traveling and meeting people is one of my passions. I have made many friends all over the world and I love to revisit them or host them when they visit me. I make friends easily and I am very appreciative of those people and the good conversations and fun we have. I would say I am not a typical American, and I tend to agree with more international mindsets than American ones. I love the expat life. Not sure what the future brings, but I enjoy the mystery! Travelers of all backgrounds, race, religions or lack of, hetero or gay, are all welcome to stay with us.

PHILOSOPHY

It is possible this is the only chance we have at life, so why not enjoy it? I believe in living adventure, not just daydreaming about it. We have a responsibility to ourselves to live life to its fullest, to try to understand and embrace other people and cultures, and to be generous to those with good hearts. It's an amazing world out there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in hosting unique but trustworthy couchsurfers who are from any location. I have used couchsurfing in Europe, the UK, and the USA with wonderful results and have made lasting friendships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed on many couches in years past and have had many wonderful people and bands crash on our couches, floors, and beds.

Classic films, mostly 1930's American films and 60's European. Sometimes I enjoy the ocassional 1980's John Hughes flick, but for entirely different reasons. All kinds of music has its great artists. Music is my passion.

Probably the two most life changing things I've done are: 1. Leaving religious school for an open life of questions, not made up answers. 2. Upon graduating University I hitchhiked to San Francisco to squat in abandoned buildings and parks and volunteer for Food Not Bombs for eight months. I learned a lot pretty damn fast and recommend both of these for anybody.
