Still discovering myself ...
Hi guys, my name is Nikolina, I am 22 years old and I am a TRAVELHOLIC. I grew up in Tirana, the capital city of Albania where I still live with my family. This year I finished my bachelor degree for telecommunication engineering, through the week I work as a automated tester and during my weekend I work as a guide. I guide locals and tourist in undiscovered hiking trails and locations through all of Albania. I have been traveling since i was a little kid with my family and friends. Albanian is my mother tongue language but I can fluently speak Greek and English, still trying to learn Italian :p. My favourite food are french fries even though I try to eat healthy. I like reading in my free time and watching movies. There are a lot of things I can share about my self but the best are yet to come .Cant wait to make life time friends and meet knew people, share my experiences my tradition and culture in every place I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world from a new perspective. I love meeting new people, especially from different walks of live. Learn new things. I want to learn about all the small things that I would never be able to learn on a Wikipedia page or in a travel book, that is just second hand information .
I want to experience a new culture from the inside.
I may not walk away knowing all the details of a specific country i travel, history and society, but I’ll come a way with a sense of what it’s like to walk around in the shoes of a local, even if just for a few days.
I want to break out of my comfort zone.
Showing up at a stranger’s home, sharing your stories with them, and sleeping on their couches is a pretty intense thing to do for most people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done the Valbone-Theth-Valbone hiking trails( Albanian Alps).
I have hiked Dajti mountain.
I have slept in park in Paris .
I have hiked and swim through a Canyon ( Holta Canion).
I have paraglide over the sea.
