Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first goal as a CSer is to get to understand people through my heart and vision, not the media and politicians talk.
Also, I am interested in meeting people while having long conversations and learning from them. I believe that traveling affects my worldview, though it falls short if I stay away from local people.

Interests

I feel politics in the air I breathe.
I have recently developed interests in drama and comedy in different forms including films and literature. If CSers had time, I would love to hear some stories, watch movies or play board games with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
my politics: saeid soltanpour, shadia mansour, lowkey, 47 soul, etc!
persian classic (instrumental): keyhan kalhor, ali ghamsari, hossein alizadeh, shahrdad rouhani, javad maroufi, lachini, etc!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Damavand mountain and reached the peak in 4 days with a heavy backpack, from 1500 to 5671 meters height!
I enjoyed playing piano in a local and educational recital at Mahak hospital, Tehran!
I cannot forget my bright memories of camping at Hormuz island.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a volunteer mathematics/physics teacher in impoverished areas of the country. That experience influenced my life dramatically.
Well, probably, I can answer your questions about Farsi language, Tehran's cuisine, etc.
