About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To host - friends, family, Couchsurfers, parties, games nights. My boyfriend and I were lucky to find a very lovely big house in Bristol and we want to share this amazing space with the world.

ABOUT ME

I love the music, exploring cultures and travels, daydreaming. I'm not into sports but I do a few partner dances. Weird things happen to me all the time and I love it.

PHILOSOPHY

Hippie, man.

I believe that we should all aim to become the best version of ourselves. So learn, try new things, polish your skills, love and share the good stuff.

I smile 99% of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate mostly by sleeping on people's couches and beds... and the other way round.

Interests

Spreading beauty and my inner sunshine.

Apart from that adventures, travels, nature, music, culture, history, linguistics, film, coffee, food, partner dancing.

I'm a musician - vocalist, singer-songwriter, working with a few bands.
You can listen to my music here: www.i-sha-vii.com

I love playing in the streets when I travel.

I used to hitch-hike A LOT and I kinda miss it...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: my biggest hero is David Bowie. I listen to all sorts of things, from avant-guard and free jazz, through Elvis, blues, folk, desert rock, first British invasion to psychedelic rock and some very random things, anything which GROOVES (not a fan of brutal and depressive vibes).
That's my field, I do have quite some knowledge about it and I love exchanging bands, so let's do it!
Check out my band: www.facebook.com/amun-ramen

Books: Joseph Campbell, Douglas Adams, J. D. Salinger, Waldemar Łysiak, Alfred Tennyson and some more British XIXth century poetry.
If you have strong nerves, I'd recommend 'Chasing the scream' by Johann Hari.

Movies: US comedies based on the Saturday Night Live ensemble, John Carpenter, John Landis, Star Wars, Akira Kurosawa... I love movies, let's talk about it when we meet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiked solo over 8100 km across the US!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach each other how to be human!

But seriously: I think I can teach you how to sing something, a little bit guitar or music theory. I'm a good chef and I know how to cook all those typical Polish dishes + lots of good food from around the world. I'm a coffee and grammar geek too so anything you wanna ask - I'll be happy to share :)
